Happy Valentine’s Day

I received an email from my dear friend today which read: “This day, to me, isn’t just about romantic love.  It’s a day dedicated to celebrating love.  All kinds of love.  And your friendship and love are so very important to me.”

That meant a lot to me, and made me happy! For those of us who are single, today can be difficult since it makes us extra aware of our single-ness :0) But if I think about ALL the love in my life, and not just the romantic love that Valentine’s Day seems to mostly be about, I love today! So, Happy Valentine’s Day… I hope you can spend it with your loved ones.

My talented and good friend Holly owns a flower business called Hollyhock Floral. (I love that it’s local.) I’m a little late in posting this in time for today (sorry Holly!) but I shot a few photos of the big shipment of roses she received the other day… they smelled SO good and looked SO beautiful. Enjoy!
