We have had so much fun since starting the Hiya Papaya Photo a Day Challenge in November! We’ve decided to try and keep this going every month. And what better time to start participating in it than the BRAND NEW YEAR, right?! HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone! Welcome 2013!!
Okay, so here’s how this works: Each day there will be a new theme. Interpret the word or theme however you’d like. You don’t have to have a fancy camera to do this project. I use my iphone. It’s just a chance to get everyone out taking pictures!
You can post and share your image wherever you’d like – your Facebook page, your blog, Twitter, Instagram, etc. If you do post them to Instagram with your iphone or ipad, be sure to tag them #hiyapapayaphotoaday. That way others can go look and see your photos! (Through this project, I have come to LOVE Instagram! It’s been SO MUCH FUN seeing everyone’s #hiyapapayaphotoaday hashtagged posts there!) Don’t stress if you miss a day – the point of this is to have FUN! Just try and jump in the next day.
This isn’t a contest. Just a fun way to get everyone out and capturing their world. It’s so fun and makes you more aware and really stretches your creative imagination.
