Danielle & Chantz Wedding

One of my very favorite events to photograph was Jessica & Alex’ carnival-themed reception because 1) the decor was OOZING with creativity in every corner, and 2) I LOVE anything carnival-ish. The couple was also just really ‘cool to capture’, as you’ll notice in their engagement shoot. One of the creative minds behind their reception was Jessica’s sister, Danielle, so you can probably imagine how excited I was when asked to photograph her wedding! She is incredibly artistic. My favorite detail of the reception was the THIRTEEN GORGEOUS CAKES that Danielle made herself, and decorated with her aunt and mom! I think I drooled over that table as I photo’d it… Mm. Also, I was roommates a few months ago with Danielle and so I got to know her and Chantz a bit. I think they are adorable together! Congrats guys! Enjoy a little taste of their wedding day…

Catherine’s Bridals

I’ve known Catherine for a few years now and, you’d never guess, but this thin, small-framed girl can PLOW you down in a game of broom-hockey, oh my. She’s one of my dearest friends and I was so happy she asked me to do her bridals! (And engagements earlier.) She is one of the most loyal, determined, committed and fun-loving people I know. I love this girl!

Also, thanks to Cristi for helping me edit some of these! I injured my back a couple of months ago (it’s a really boring story) and haven’t been able to sit at my computer for very long at a time (but I’m getting better, hallelujah), so thank you Cristi and enjoy Kiki’s bridals…

Mike and Holly’s Reception, Part 2

Well, the time has come. I knew it was inevitable. We couldn’t keep doing posts on Mike and Holly’s wedding forever. I knew it would eventually have to come to an end. HUGE SIGH! (Yes, I have a flair for the dramatic. Can ya tell?) Seriously, though. Their wedding was a dream to photograph and a dream to post here on the blog.

In case you missed it, check out their morning at the temple HERE, their luncheon at Rodizio Grill in Trolley Square HERE, and their Reception in Park City, part 1 HERE. AND if you are feeling SUPER adventuresome, check out their engagement shoot HERE and Holly’s bridals HERE.
