Hiya Papaya Photo a Day Challenge – MAY

Ahhh. There’s something so refreshing about starting a brand new month (and a brand new photo a day list). Especially when it’s one of my very FAVORITE months of the entire year. I have always loved May.

Here is the list for this month. For those of you new to this, here’s how it works: Each day there will be a new theme. Interpret the word or theme however you’d like. You don’t have to have a fancy camera to do this project. I use my iphone. It’s just a chance to get everyone out taking pictures and thinking creatively.

You can post and share your image wherever you’d like – your Facebook page, your blog, Twitter, Instagram, etc. (Many of our participants keep them for themselves and print them to a photo book. I print my photo a day images straight from instagram to a photo book each month. It’s like a photo journal. Super fun!) If you do post them to Instagram, be sure to tag them #hiyapapayaphotoaday. That way others can go look and see your creative take on the theme! Don’t stress if you miss a day or two (or ten) – the point of this is to have FUN! Just try and jump back in as soon as you can. A brand new month is always a great time to start again! ;)

It’s finally SPRING! WOO HOO! And it’s time for the April Photo a Day Challenge. Who is ready? I’m so excited for a new, fresh month! :)

For those who have been participating and sharing on instagram with the hashtag #hiyapapayaphotoaday, we have had so much fun looking through your images. You guys are so creative! For those of you new to this, here’s how it works: Each day there will be a new theme. Interpret the word or theme however you’d like. You don’t have to have a fancy camera to do this project. I use my iphone. It’s just a chance to get everyone out taking pictures!

March is upon us already! I always forget that February only has 28 days in it (well, sometimes 29. But only 28 this year. But you guys already knew that. Now I’m just rambling) so March always sneaks up on me.

So who’s ready for the new Photo a Day challenge list? I am, I am!! :) This is a day early. Unless you live on the other side of the world, in which case I’m right on time.
