Autumnal Family Photos in the Lindon Hills

A couple of weeks ago, for my 34th birthday, Jessi took pictures of our little family (I’m feeling so accomplished – I already ordered our Christmas cards printed this year. This has NEVER happened before!) and I got to edit them afterwards. It was a good collaboration for the two of us and I’m really thankful to Jess for doing such a great job capturing us. As I said before, family picture day is my most stressful day of the year. I guess that’s good in a way – it helps me empathize with clients. ;) The colors in the canyon were still gorgeously autumnal (thank goodness we got pictures when we did – it SNOWED the next week!). I ADORE these shots and will treasure them forever. THANKS, Jessi!

Brilynn’s 4 Year Shoot

Isn’t Little Bri darling?! (I know adults – okay … me - who fork out loads of cash to have hair that looks like hers…) Her 4 year old shoot was SO much fun to do. So. Much. Fun. I love photographing this age – old enough to know what to do (and take directions from mommy and photographer) really nicely in front of the camera, but still young enough to not have any inhibitions and just let the childhood spirit FLOW!  The best compliment you can be paid as a photographer is when a parent tells you that you captured their child’s personality perfectly!   I know that I love these, but nothing is better than knowing that little Brilynn’s mommy and daddy think they’re the cat’s meow, too! ;)
